North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority is committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of any personal information you may provide. 

If you choose to share personal information with us by filling out an electronic feedback, contact or application form with personal information, subscribing to a newsletter, or sending us an email message, the information will only be used for the purposes you authorized.  Some of this information may be saved for a designated period of time in order to comply with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and NBMCA's Records Management Policy. NBMCA will not disclose personal information to third parties or other government agencies unless required to do so by law.

Freedom of Information

Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act/Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, you may request access to general records, your own personal information, and correction to your own personal information. Please submit your request on the FOI Request Form to NBMCA FOI Officer, 15 Janey Ave., North Bay, ON P1C 1N1. Not all general records are accessible to the public.  Restrictions are identified in the legislation.

Tracking your website visit

NBMCA conforms to the requirements of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). The legislation provides the parameters for access to information held by the NBMCA and the rules for protecting the personal privacy of individuals associated with the NBMCA.
