We continue to examine our business practices to find a balance between our social responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protecting our employees from potential exposure, while continuing to deliver essential services.

Effective August 4, 2020

The NBMCA offices in North Bay and Parry Sound are now closed to the public; however,  the majority of staff are working off-site and continue to provide service by phone or email.   Email addresses are available on the Staff Directory.

Temporary measures have been put in place for On-site Sewage System and Section 28 (DIA) Regulation Applications and Inspections. 

For legal inquiries and reviews, we ask that all requests be submitted electronically, by email or fax.

NBMCA continues its  Flood Forecasting Program. 

You are welcome to visit any of our 16 Conservation Areas, as well as the beaches at Elks Lodge No 25 Family Park (Trout Lake) and Eva Wardlaw Conservation Area (Lake Nipissing) and public boat launches on Lake Nipissing at Chippewa Creek and Papineau Lake.  We remind you to respect physical distancing (at least 2 meters between families and household groups) and please, please, please poop and scoop and keep your dogs on a leash.    The Washroom at Elks Lodge is open and being sanitized twice a day.  The washrooms at  Eau Claire Gorge and Mattawa Island remain closed at this time.
